UNH is now 5-1-1 on the season.
HANOVER, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team tied Dartmouth, 0-0, at Burnham Field on Saturday evening in a rematch of last year's NCAA Tournament second round game. The Wildcats are now 5-0-1 over the last six games and 5-1-1 overall this season, while the Big Green are 0-3-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Wildcats looked to take a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute when junior Antonio Colacci (Bradenton, Fla.) sent a corner kick to the box, but a header by sophomore Josh Bauer (Bedford, N.H.) was deflected away from the goal.
- In the 36th minute, junior Donnett Sackie (Monrovia, Liberia) took the first shot on goal for the Wildcats but his attempt was saved by Henry Stusnick.
- Then Matthew Ranieri struck the ball from 18 yards out towards the lower left corner of the goal, but graduate student goalkeeper Lars Huxsohl (Hamburg, Germany) was able to make the diving save to keep the game scoreless.
- Each team took one shot on goal in the first half, while the Wildcats had three corner kicks and the Big Green posted one.
- In the 53rd minute, sophomore Linus Fallberg (Jonkoping, Sweden) drove the ball from 25 yards out, but Stusnick trapped the shot and kept it out of the net.
- Dawson McCartney then tried to tip the ball to the back of the net from eight yards out in the 60th minute, but Huxsohl grabbed the ball keeping it out of the net.
- With the game still tied at 0-0 in the 65th minute, a shot by Tiger Graham just sailed right of the net from 14 yards out.
- In the 86th minute, Justin Donawa almost gave the Big Green the lead but his shot from 20 yards out ricocheted off the lower right post as the game then went to overtime.
- With less than five minutes remaining in double overtime, junior Jack Doherty (Meriden, N.H.) blasted a shot from 18 yards out but Stusnick was there to make the save as the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Huxsohl made three saves and is now 5-1-1 on the season, while Stusnick posted five.
- UNH outshot the Big Green, 21-14, while the Wildcats took five shots on goal and the Big Green tallied three.
- UNH had six corner kicks, while the Big Green took four.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- This is the second straight game these two teams have played to a scoreless tie.
- This was a rematch of the second round of last year's NCAA Tournament. After a 0-0 tie at the end of double overtime, the Wildcats won the shootout 4-1 to advance to the Round of 16.
- The Big Green lead the all-time series 23-15-7, but the Wildcats are 3-1-2 over the last six contests.
