Game Times Announced for 2018 Football Season

Wildcats open six-game home slate with 6 p.m. kickoff vs Colgate (09/08)
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire Department of Athletics announced Monday home game times for the 2018 UNH football season at Wildcat Stadium. The Wildcats open with a 6 p.m. Youth Football Night game against Colgate on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Homecoming against Stony Brook is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13, at 3:30 p.m., followed by Family Weekend against Delaware on Saturday, Oct. 20 (3:30 p.m.).

The 'Cats will kick off at 1 p.m. on three Saturdays, with a non-conference game against Holy Cross (Oct. 6), a CAA showdown versus defending national runner-up James Madison (Nov. 3) and the home finale against Albany (Nov. 10).

Wildcat Stadium, the second-year home of the UNH football team, saw a 13-percent attendance increase in 2017, highlighted by the all-time largest crowd for a home opener (15,854) and largest on-campus crowd (22,135) in school history. The Wildcats averaged 12,751 fans per home game (regular season), up from the previous high of 11,108 in 2016. The overall attendance of 63,756 for five home dates eclipsed the regular-season attendance of 55,542 in 2016.
The UNH football team went 9-5 in 2017 and finished the season ranked 12th in the nation. The Wildcats competed in the NCAA Division I FCS playoffs for the 14th consecutive season, which is the longest active streak in the nation. UNH defeated Central Connecticut State in the first round and Central Arkansas in the second round before falling at South Dakota State in the national quarterfinals.
