Senior Takes Eighth in Women's GS
HANCOCK & RIPTON, Vt. – Senior alpine skier Lisa Wedsjö (Saltsjöbaden, Sweden) raced to an eighth-place finish in women's giant slalom and the University of New Hampshire ski team finished fourth overall in the 2018 EISA Championships/NCAA East Regional Championships, which concluded Saturday at Middlebury College Snow Bowl and Rikert Nordic Center. Wedsjö's team-leading performance locked up what will be her fourth straight berth to the NCAA Ski Championships, which will be hosted by the University of Colorado on March 7-10.
UNH scored 580 points to place behind 2018 EISA champion Dartmouth (979), Vermont (841) and Middlebury (816).

Select members of the Wildcats will be chosen to represent the University and the East in the 2018 NCAA Skiing Championships, hosted by the University of Colorado on March 7-10. Alpine races will take place at Steamboat Springs Resort, with giant slalom (March 7) and slalom (March 9). Nordic races are scheduled for Howelsen Hill, with the women's 5K classic/men's 10K classic (March 8) and the women's 15K skate/men's 20K skate (March 10).
