BOSTON – Junior Corinne Carbone (Medway, Mass.) won two events for the Wildcats, but the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team fell to Northeastern, 176-119, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Carbone placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:55.44, while she won the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.50. She was also second in the 100 free (54.40).
- Senior Vivienne El-Sibay (Munich, Germany) won the 200 fly with a time of 2:06.85, while she placed second in the 100 fly (58.37) and the 200 IM (2:11.83).
- Sophomore Miranda Bacon (Scotia, N.Y.) earned a first-place finish in the 200 breast with a time of 2:24.50.
- Sophomore Melissa Dingle (Brighton, Ontario) was second in the 200 back (2:07.53), while freshman Anna Metzler (Regensburg, Germany) was second in the 1000 free (10:26.31).
- Freshman Cate Wardinski (Burke, Va.) placed second in the 50 free with a time of 24.84.
