•The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a complimentary 125th Anniversary Game T-Shirt, and Dr. Pepper will award $10,000 in scholarships to two UNH students on the field at halftime. Dr. Pepper will also be raffling off bluetooth radios and cornhole games while giving away free samples, t-shirts and sunglasses. Take advantage of special $1.25 concession items to commemorate the anniversary of the first game in Wildcats' history (Nov. 4, 1893). New Hampshire is led by 20th-year head coach Sean McDonnell, who has guided the Wildcats to the NCAA FCS tournament each of the last 14 years (longest active streak in the nation).
UNH has a 12-11 lifetime record against Villanova with three consecutive wins in the series. These Wildcat football programs have not battled on the gridiron since Oct. 19 2013, when No. 25 New Hampshire prevailed 29-28 at Cowell Stadium against 12th-ranked 'Nova.
New Hampshire has not made the trek to Villanova Stadium since Nov. 13, 2010, when No. 17 UNH prevailed 31-24 against the ninth-ranked home team.
UNH's defense limited Delaware to 177 total yards of offense (83 rush, 94 pass) last week. It marked the lowest total by a UNH opponent since Nov. 6, 2010, when the Wildcats held William & Mary to 171 yards (141 rush, 30 pass) in a 13-3 loss at Cowell Stadium.
Senior wide receiver Neil O'Connor is No. 5 on UNH's career leaderboard for receiving yards with 2,919. He needs 109 yards to tie No. 4 Curtis Olds at 3,028.
In the 2018 season, O'Connor has accounted for 51 of UNH's 128 receptions (40%) and 616 of 1,293 receiving yards (48%).
Senior quarterback Trevor Knight has 549 career completions, which ranks seventh on UNH's all-time list. He will tie No. 6 Mike Granieri (564) with 15 completions and climb into a tie with No. 5 Bob Jean (567) with 18 completions.
UNH ranks second in the CAA in pass defense by allowing just 162.6 passing yards per game, and the Wildcats are No. 5 in total defense (333.9 yards/game) as well as No. 3 in opponent third down conversion percentage (29.9%).
Junior linebacker Michael Balsamo (99), junior cornerback Isiah Perkins (99) and sophomore safety Evan Horn (90) are approaching 100 career tackles. Six current 'Cats have already surpassed the century mark.
Two UNH running backs are on the verge of 1,000 career rushing yards. Senior Trevon Bryant enters Saturday's game with 973 career rushing yards (35 games). Junior Evan Gray has 959 rushing yards in 32 games.
UNH enters the week ranked No. 5 in the nation in fewest penalty yards per game (34.71) and No. 6 in fewest penalties per game (3.86).
