PROVIDENCE , R.I. – The University of New Hampshire women's hockey team was held to zero goals as they were shut out for the first time this season by the #10 Providence College Friars, 3-0 on Wednesday evening. The Wildcats
It was the first time the Wildcats were held without a goal since January, when the Wildcats were shut out by Northeastern 6-0.
The Friars defense held the Wildcats to 26 shots on net; Freshman goaltender Ava Boutilier (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) made 35 saves in the loss, making 16 saves in the first two periods. Her record is now 6-4-5 in her first season.
