Wildcats Place 33 on CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of New Hampshire football program had 33 student-athletes tabbed to the 2016-17 Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner's Football Academic Honor Roll.
Honorees attained a minimum grade point average of 3.00 and were enrolled as full-time students. Three members of the Wildcats -senior Casey DeAndrade (East Bridgewater, Mass.), junior Kyle Reisert (Plymouth, N.H.) and junior Jared Kuehl (Plymouth, N.H.)-- were previously named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team.
DeAndrade joins Dalton Crossan (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.), Kevin McNally (Cornwall, N.Y.), Adam Riese (Hamilton, N.J.) and Cam Shorey (Calais, Maine) as seniors on the Honor Roll.

The UNH football team qualified for the 2016 NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision playoffs for the 13th consecutive season, which is the longest active streak in the nation. The Wildcats defeated Lehigh, 64-21, in the opening round of the playoffs at Wildcat Stadium and concluded the season with a record of 8-5.
