Ryan Conmy (Alexandria, Va.), a freshman on the UNH men's hockey team, was named the Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week on Jan. 10.
Ryan recorded two goals and an assist to lead the men’s hockey team to a two-game sweep of Princeton University at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex on Jan. 5-6
The 5-foot-10 forward tallied a goal and an assist for the third consecutive game in Friday’s 5-2 win to record his eighth multiple-point game of the season. He gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead midway through the first period and set up the goal that made it 4-1 with 47 seconds left in the middle stanza.
Ryan followed that with his 10th goal and 22nd point of the season in Saturday’s 3-1 win. His tally closed the scoring at 9:29 of the third period.
The 16th-ranked UNH men’s hockey team returns to action Jan. 13 (6 p.m.) at second-ranked Boston University. The Wildcats’ next home game is Jan. 21 (4 p.m.) vs. UConn for Community Heroes Day, which will feature a CAT Hat Giveaway and postgame autograph session.
