Katie Taranto contributed to the 13-8 UNH women’s lacrosse win against Columbia University with her dominant five goal performance. Katie opened up her scoring at 1:52 of the first period with her 24th goal of the season, unassisted and evening the score 3-3. Katie went on to score three more goals in the third period and that included the game-winning goal. Along with her five goal performance, she was also credited with an assist to match her personal best of six points.

Currently, Katie leads the team in goals (28), points (31), and shots on goal (43).

In America East statistics, Katie is 4th overall in goals per game, averaging 3.11, and 9th overall in points per game (3.44).

UNH returns to action April 8 at the University of Vermont at 12 p.m.
