Sean Maguire

Sean Maguire is currently in his third season as the Director of Goaltending Development for UNH men's hockey in 2025-26.
Maguire previously was the goaltender coach at St. Anselm from 2021-22 and for the Powell River Kings of the BCHL in 2019-20.
He played three years of professional hockey including three seasons for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL. Maguire also saw action for the Wheeling Nailers, Fort Wayne Komets and Utah Grizzlies all of the ECHL.
The 113th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2012 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, Maguire played at Boaston University from 2012-2016. As a senior he was named the 2016 Beanpot MVP for making 41 saves versus Boston College in a 1-0 loss. He also won the Eberly Award for posting the best save percentage in both Beanpot games. As a freshman he earned Hockey East Rookie of the Week honors three times and was named the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week once.
A native of Powell River, British Columbia, Maguire was a two-year member of the Powell River Kings.
