Women’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

‘Cats kickoff season at Stonehill on Aug. 13; home opener vs. Dartmouth on Aug. 23
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team has announced its schedule for the 2026 season, featuring 16 regular-season matches, including eight contests at Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats enter the season looking to build on their recent success, having advanced to the America East Championship game three times in the last five seasons. UNH is seeking its third conference tournament title after capturing America East crowns in 2014 and 2022.
The Wildcats enjoyed a strong home-field advantage in 2025, posting a 3-0-5 record at Wildcat Stadium. It marked UNH's first undefeated season at home in five years, dating back to a perfect 5-0-0 mark in 2020.
The 2026 slate includes matchups against two teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament: Dartmouth (Defending Ivy League Champion) and Maine (America East Champion) along with the 2025 Atlantic 10 Conference Finalist in Rhode Island.
"This is certainly a very nicely balanced and robust regional schedule," said head coach Steve Welham. "There are several talented squads on the docket, and we are looking forward to the challenge!"
VIEW SCHEDULE
UNH opens the season with a pair of road matches at Stonehill on Aug. 13 and Siena on Aug. 16 before making its home debut against 2025 Ivy League champion Dartmouth on Aug. 23 at Wildcat Stadium.
Following a home contest against 2025 Atlantic 10 finalist Rhode Island on Aug. 27, the Wildcats travel to Northeastern on Aug. 30 and Merrimack on Sept. 2.
The non-conference schedule concludes with two home matches against Ivy League opponents, Yale on Sept. 6 and Harvard on Sept. 13.
America East play begins on Sept. 20 at NJIT, followed by a road matchup at UMBC on Sept. 27.
UNH opens the month of October at home against Bryant on Oct. 1 before traveling to Binghamton on Oct. 5.
The Wildcats return to Durham for a key conference showdown against three-time defending America East champion Maine on Oct. 18 in the annual Border Battle presented by Buffalo Wild Wings, then head to UMass Lowell on Oct. 22.
UNH closes the regular season with back-to-back home matches against 2025 America East finalist Vermont on Oct. 25 and UAlbany on Nov. 1.
The 2026 America East Championship begins with first-round matches on Nov. 5, followed by the semifinals on Nov. 8 and the championship game on Nov. 15.
