Women’s Soccer Announces Additions to 2026 Roster

Eight freshmen and two transfers to join the team
DURHAM, N.H. – University of New Hampshire head women's soccer coach Steve Welham has announced the addition of eight incoming freshmen and two undergraduate transfers to the Fall 2026 roster.
"We are looking forward to this class and to their collegiate journey here at UNH," said Welham. "We have no doubt that they will positively impact our team and team culture. They are all wonderful people, students and soccer players. This group will join a strong core that is hungry and eager to take the next step in our program. We are excited that they are all Wildcats, and we feel that they will represent our community and University in the best way possible."
Addie Davis | Defender | Sophomore | Kenmore, N.Y.
Addie Davis joins the Wildcats as a sophomore transfer from Western Carolina University, where she earned Southern Conference (SoCon) All-Freshman Team honors in 2025. Davis helped the Catamounts advance to the semifinals of the SoCon Tournament while appearing in 19 matches with 16 starts and logging 1,515 minutes on the back line. She recorded her first collegiate point with an assist against VMI on Oct. 2.
Prior to her collegiate career, Davis competed for the WNY Flash Academy ECNL program from 2018-25, helping the club qualify for the national playoffs in both 2023 and 2024. She also starred at Nichols School in Buffalo, where she played three seasons of varsity soccer and served as team captain as a senior. Davis earned selection to the 2025 New York Class B All-State Team and garnered All-Catholic Conference First Team honors in both 2024 and 2025. A two-time Team MVP (2024, 2025), she helped lead Nichols School to the conference finals in each of her three seasons. As a senior, Davis totaled seven goals and five assists for 19 points. In the classroom, she consistently achieved High Honors and Highest Honors throughout her high school career.

Megan Jakubicka | Midfielder/Forward | Freshman | Sandwich, Mass.
Megan Jakubicka is as an attacking midfielder and forward who competed for Scorpions SC in the ECNL from 2023-26, helping the club qualify for the 2025 ECNL Playoffs.
On the international stage, Jakubicka has represented Slovakia as a member of the U17 and U19 Girls National Teams. She has earned call-ups to three national team camps and started at striker against France during U17 European Championship qualifying competition.
Jakubicka was a five-year varsity standout at Sandwich Middle High School from 2021-25 and served as team captain during her senior season. She earned Eastern Mass. All-Star Second Team honors three times (2022, 2023 and 2025) and was named the Cape & Islands League Most Valuable Player twice (2023 and 2025). In the classroom, Jakubicka was equally impressive, earning the prestigious Harvard Book Award in 2025 and graduating ranked among the top 10 students in her class.

Lindsay Lenhard | Forward | Sophomore | Spencerport, N.Y.
Lindsay Lenhard, who enrolled at UNH for the 2026 spring semester, is a sophomore transfer from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. During her freshman campaign with the Seahawks, Lenhard earned CAA All-Freshman Team honors and helped lead UNCW to the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Regular Season Championship. She appeared in 17 matches with two starts, recording two goals and two assists for six points. Lenhard scored her first collegiate goal in a 4-1 victory over Hampton on Oct. 5 and was subsequently named CAA Rookie of the Week.
Prior to her collegiate career, Lenhard competed for the Western New York Flash 2007 ECNL team from 2018-24, serving as team captain from 2020-24. She earned All-Ohio Valley First Team honors in 2023 and 2024 after receiving All-Ohio Valley Second Team recognition in 2022.
Lenhard enjoyed a record-setting five-year varsity career at Spencerport High School, where she served as team captain in 2023 and 2024. She finished as the program's all-time leader in points with 240, totaling 85 goals and 70 assists. Lenhard also holds the school records for career assists and single-season assists after tallying 28 helpers in 2024.
One of the most decorated players in school history, Lenhard earned New York State First Team honors in both 2023 and 2024 and was named New York State Player of the Year in 2023. She added Regional All-America honors in 2023 and National All-America recognition in 2024.
Lenhard was a three-time First Team All-Monroe County selection (2022, 2023, 2024), the 2024 All-County Division 2 Player of the Year, a two-time All-Greater Rochester First Team honoree (2022, 2023), and the 2024 All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year. She was also named Primetime 585 Large School Player of the Year in both 2023 and 2024.
Lenhard helped guide Spencerport to five sectional championships and played a key role in the program's 2023 New York State Championship season.

Dulce Lytle | Forward | Freshman | Wyomissing, Pa.
Dulce Lytle joins the Wildcats as a freshman forward who competed for FC Delco in the ECNL from 2024-26 after previously playing for Reading Rage Surf ECNL Regional League from 2023-24.
Lytle was a four-year varsity standout at Wyomissing Junior/Senior High School, where she served as team captain during her senior season. One of the most productive players in program history, she amassed 98 goals and 70 assists for 266 career points. Throughout her high school career, Lytle earned All-County honors three times and received All-Division recognition once. She was also named Player of the Week during the 2025 season.
In addition to her success on the field, Lytle excelled academically and was a recipient of the 2026 3.5 GPA and Higher Scholarship, recognizing her commitment to achievement in the classroom.

Meryn Primanti | Back | Freshman | Pottstown, Pa.
Meryn Primanti is a freshman defender who competed for Penn Fusion ECNL from 2020-26. During her club career, she helped Penn Fusion capture the 2024 ECNL National Championship, one of the premier achievements in youth soccer.
Primanti was a four-year varsity player at Owen J. Roberts High School, where she served as team captain during both her junior and senior seasons. A consistent performer throughout her high school career, she earned All-Conference honors in all four seasons and was recognized as the team's Most Valuable Player during her junior year.
In addition to her success on the field, Primanti excelled academically and was named Student of the Month during her sophomore year, highlighting her commitment to achievement both in the classroom and in athletics.

Riley Restic | Back | Freshman | Mendon, Mass.
Riley Restic joins the Wildcats as a freshman defender after competing for NEFC 08 GA from 2016-26. During her club career, Restic helped NEFC establish itself as one of the top teams in the country, earning the No. 1 ranking among 2008 Girls Academy teams in the Northeast and the No. 3 national ranking in 2023. The club also completed an undefeated season in 2023 and advanced to the national finals in 2021.
Restic was a four-year varsity player at Nipmuc Regional High School, where she served as team captain during both her junior and senior seasons. Following her senior campaign, she earned numerous honors, including Telegram & Gazette All-Star, All-State, Central Mass. All-Star and A Shot for Life All-Star recognition.
A key contributor to one of the most successful stretches in program history, Restic helped lead Nipmuc to the 2024 MIAA Division 3 State Championship, the program's first state title in a decade. The Warriors also reached the MIAA Division 3 State Final in 2025, captured the Dual Valley Conference Championship in 2024, won three consecutive Central Mass. championships from 2022-24 and claimed the CMAC Championship in 2025. During her four-year career, Nipmuc posted a remarkable 76-8-5 record and compiled a 41-match winning streak spanning the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
In the classroom, Restic was a three-year member of the National Honor Society (2024-26) and earned both the Global Seal of Biliteracy and the State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.

Paige Santos | Midfielder | Freshman | Weddington, N.C.
Paige Santos joins the Wildcats as a freshman midfielder after competing for Charlotte Independence Soccer Club in the ECNL from 2019-26 and helped lead the program to the 2025 Mid-Atlantic ECNL Cup Championship. She earned Mid-Atlantic ECNL All-Conference First Team honors during both the U16 season (2023) and U17 season (2024), while also being selected to compete in the ECNL Florida National Selection Game in 2024 and the ECNL Houston National Selection Game in 2022.
A team captain for Charlotte Independence during the 2022-23 season, Santos earned the club's Excellence in Leadership Award in 2022 and was named Charlotte Soccer Honors Young Female Player of the Year in 2020. She also received selection to the U.S. Youth National Team Regional ID Program and the U.S. Youth National Team Identification Center in 2022.
At Weddington High School, Santos was a four-year varsity player who helped the Warriors win three conference championships and served as team captain during her senior season in 2025-26. She earned All-Conference honors in 2023-24 and 2024-25, All-Region recognition in 2023-24 and 2024-25, All-State honors in 2024-25 and was named the Southern Carolina Conference Player of the Year in 2024-25.
Santos was selected to participate in the High School Carolina Soccer Honors Selection Game in 2025, the Clash of the Carolinas Selection Game in 2026 and the North Carolina Coaches Association East/West All-Star Game in 2026.
In the classroom, Santos graduated summa cum laude from Weddington High School.

Kayla Smyrnios | Forward | Freshman | Lynnfield, Mass.
Kayla Smyrnios joins the Wildcats as a freshman forward as she played club soccer for NEFC from 2019-26, competing for one of the top programs in the region throughout her youth career.
At Pingree School, Smyrnios was a four-year standout who amassed 107 career points and served as team captain during her senior season in 2025. She earned All-NEPSAC honors in each of her four seasons (2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025), while also garnering All-EIL recognition in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Smyrnios was named All-State in 2024 and 2025, earned All-Region honors in 2025 and was a three-time Salem News All-Star selection (2023, 2024 and 2025).
Smyrnios led Pingree to NEPSAC Championships in 2022 and 2023, a NEPSAC runner-up finish in 2024 and EIL Championships in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. She was named MVP of the NEPSAC Championship in both 2022 and 2023, earned MVP honors of the EIL Championship in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and was selected as her team's MVP in 2025.
In the classroom, Smyrnios earned the English Distinction Award in 2022.

Molly Tufts | Back | Freshman | Weymouth, Mass.
Molly Tufts is as a freshman back who competed for Scorpions SC in the ECNL from 2024-26. She earned ECNL All-Conference New England First Team honors in 2024-25 and previously played for the Boston Bolts from 2020-24.
A four-year varsity player at Weymouth High School, Tufts served as team captain during her senior season. She was a Bay State Conference All-Star in 2024 and 2025, earned Eastern Mass. All-Star First Team recognition in both seasons, and was named to the Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic First Team in 2025. A three-time team MVP (2023, 2024, 2025), Tufts concluded her high school career as the team's leading scorer in 2025.

"Molly is a very talented defender. She is athletic, tough and possesses the ability to read the game well and one who is also strong in the tackle. She has all the tools to become a major force on the backline."
Amelia Wojcik | Midfielder | Freshman | Mississauga, Ontario
Amelia Wojcik joins the Wildcats as a freshman midfielder as she most recently played for Vaughan Soccer Club, where she earned Midfielder MVP honors at the 2025 FTFxSA All-Star Girls Showcase and MVP recognition at the 2025 OPSM Combine. She was also ranked No. 12 in Canada among the Class of 2026 by First Touch Football (FTF). In August 2024, Wojcik attended the Polish Women's U17 National Team training camp.
Prior to joining Vaughan, Wojcik competed for Mississauga Supernova from 2022-24 and helped the club capture three consecutive Indoor Ontario Cup Gold Medals (2022, 2023 and 2024) and the 2023 Outdoor Ontario Cup Gold Medal. The team also advanced to the U15 National Championship Final. Wojcik began her club career with Dixie, where she played from 2016-22.
At Port Credit Secondary School, Wojcik played varsity soccer during the 2023 season and helped lead her team to a conference championship.
In the classroom, Wojcik earned Honor Roll recognition for her academic achievements.

"A student of the game, Amelia a very skillful, and elusive player who covers ground well with not only her running but her passing range as well. She has the ability to influence the game with a decisive pass which not only can break lines but can spring attackers through into the final third and penalty box. She is also dangerous around goal."
UNH has been to three America East championship games in the last five years and opens up the 2026 campaign at Stonehill College on August 13.

A four-year varsity player at Weymouth High School, Tufts served as team captain during her senior season. She was a Bay State Conference All-Star in 2024 and 2025, earned Eastern Mass. All-Star First Team recognition in both seasons, and was named to the Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic First Team in 2025. A three-time team MVP (2023, 2024, 2025), Tufts concluded her high school career as the team's leading scorer in 2025.

Amelia Wojcik | Midfielder | Freshman | Mississauga, Ontario
Amelia Wojcik joins the Wildcats as a freshman midfielder as she most recently played for Vaughan Soccer Club, where she earned Midfielder MVP honors at the 2025 FTFxSA All-Star Girls Showcase and MVP recognition at the 2025 OPSM Combine. She was also ranked No. 12 in Canada among the Class of 2026 by First Touch Football (FTF). In August 2024, Wojcik attended the Polish Women's U17 National Team training camp.
Prior to joining Vaughan, Wojcik competed for Mississauga Supernova from 2022-24 and helped the club capture three consecutive Indoor Ontario Cup Gold Medals (2022, 2023 and 2024) and the 2023 Outdoor Ontario Cup Gold Medal. The team also advanced to the U15 National Championship Final. Wojcik began her club career with Dixie, where she played from 2016-22.
At Port Credit Secondary School, Wojcik played varsity soccer during the 2023 season and helped lead her team to a conference championship.
In the classroom, Wojcik earned Honor Roll recognition for her academic achievements.

"A student of the game, Amelia a very skillful, and elusive player who covers ground well with not only her running but her passing range as well. She has the ability to influence the game with a decisive pass which not only can break lines but can spring attackers through into the final third and penalty box. She is also dangerous around goal."
UNH has been to three America East championship games in the last five years and opens up the 2026 campaign at Stonehill College on August 13.
