DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire is raising a can to Wildcat Nation in a bold, first-of-its-kind way this fall.
UNH Athletics, in collaboration with NH Distributors and Anheuser-Busch, is proud to unveil a limited-edition Bud Light can featuring the iconic UNH Wildcat logo — marking a major moment for the University and putting the brand on the national map. With this release, UNH joins an exclusive lineup of athletic powerhouses including Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and Gonzaga that have been selected for this premium co-branded program.
This exciting partnership will officially launch in Durham and Lee the week of August 18, with statewide availability beginning the week of August 25. The custom Bud Light Wildcat cans — available in 30-packs — will be distributed across New Hampshire retail locations arriving just in time to kick off the 2025 UNH football season.
"This partnership is a direct result of what can happen when Wildcat pride and local business connections come together," said Director of Athletics Allison Rich. "We are so grateful for the commitment and support from our friends at Anheuser-Busch and NH Distributors. Their passion for UNH Athletics is an important part of this collaboration. They're a fantastic group of people who share our devotion to Wildcat fans everywhere. We're thrilled to welcome Anheuser-Busch as an official sponsor of the Wildcats."
At the center of this partnership is Tyler Kelly, Vice President of Marketing for NH Distributors and a proud UNH alumnus, whose leadership and Wildcat legacy were instrumental in bringing this unique opportunity to life.
"This amazing Bud Light/UNH Wildcats collaboration can is the culmination of years of dialogue and hard work between two great partners," said Kelly. "New Hampshire Distributors and the Hayes family are proud to be generational Wildcats, currently active on campus with our fourth generation. We're extremely proud to support the University of New Hampshire and Wildcat Athletics. Our thanks to Allison Rich and Demi Kneeland for getting this project to the finish line. I can't wait to have a cold Bud Light Wildcat can with my tailgating squad on opening night!"
"This is more than just a beer can — it captures the spirit of UNH Athletics and where it's headed," said Demi Kneeland, General Manager of Sponsorship Sales for UNH Athletics. "Anheuser-Busch only does this for a handful of marquee programs across the country, and it's an exciting way to elevate the Wildcat brand not only regionally, but on a national scale."
On UNH football gamedays this fall, fans 21 and older can look forward to exclusive in-stadium experiences and engaging activations powered by NH Distributors. As part of the sponsorship, NH Distributors will receive exclusive advertising rights within Wildcat Stadium for domestic and craft beer, as well as ready-to-drink canned cocktails. Their branding will be featured across videoboards, balcony LED ribbons, concourse activations, and throughout UNH's digital, print, TV, and radio platforms.
"This partnership reflects the best of New Hampshire," Kneeland added. "Local companies like NH Distributors — especially with alumni like Tyler Kelly leading the charge — remind us that Every Day is a Great Day to be a Wildcat."
