Kimball Named WCGA Gymnastics Northeast Regional Administrator of Year

Wildcat senior associate athletic director honored for ninth time
PITTSBURGH – UNH Senior Associate Athletic Director, Internal Operations Carrie Kimball BS '96 MS '02 was named the 2025 NCAA Northeast Regional Administrator of the Year by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).
Wednesday's announcement marks the second straight year and ninth time overall that Kimball has earned this award. Her impressive years of distinction are 2003, 2005, 2014, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2024 and 2025. A member of the Wildcat administrative staff for more than 20 years, Kimball is responsible for the management and administration of all Wildcat gymnastics home meets in the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex and Lundholm Gym.
"Carrie's dedication to making our meets run smoothly, along with her willingness to go above and beyond for each event's success, exemplifies her commitment to excellence," said Lindsey Bruck Ayotte, UNH Gymnastics Head Coach. "Her presence and leadership at our athletic events reflect her desire to assist in any way possible while understanding the details involved in running NCAA gymnastics meets at the highest level."
Kimball was one of six NCAA Division I regional administrators nationally recognized by the WCGA, a membership-led, professional association representing the nation's intercollegiate women's gymnastics coaches within NCAA Division I, II & III.
A two-sport athlete (basketball, track & field) while at UNH, Kimball earned a bachelor's degree in Pedagogy (1996) and a master's degree in Kinesiology: Sport Studies (2002). Kimball was the conference champion in the javelin in 1993, 1994 and 1995 as well as the runner-up in 1996. She also was the javelin ECAC champion in 1993 and New England Champion in 1994 and 1996. As a discus thrower, she earned both All-Conference and All-New England honors. As a member of the women's basketball team, she was named to the All-Conference Rookie Team in 1993 and to the All-Academic Team in 1994, 1995, and 1996.
