CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Andre Gasseau scored two goals for BC as the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team fell to No. 1 Boston College, 4-1, on Friday night at Conte Forum in Hockey East action.
Senior forward Robert Cronin (Plymouth, Mass.) scored the lone goal for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats fall to 11-15-5 (3-14-4 Hockey East), while the Eagles improve to 25-6-1 (17-4-1 Hockey East).

- At 18:15 of the first period, the Wildcats took a 1-0 lead when Cronin tipped in a shot by senior defenseman Colton Huard (Foothill Ranch, Calif.). Sophomore forward Marty Lavins (Riga, Latvia) also posted an assist on the goal.

- The Eagles tied the game 1-1 at 11:58 of the second period when Gasseau blasted a one-timer to the back of the net for the power play goal.
- Gasseau then scored his second goal of the night at 14:40 to give BC a 2-1 advantage.
- Connor Joyce extended the lead to 3-1 when he a fired a shot from the slot at 6:36.
- With 2:37 remaining in the third period, BC clinched the 4-1 win with an empty net goal by Ryan Leonard.
