Wildcats Stage a 17-Point Comeback Completed by a Pissis Game-Winning Three

Durham, NH – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team defeated UMass Lowell, 80-79, Saturday afternoon from Lundholm Gymnasium.
Junior guard Sami Pissis (Paris, France) led the 'Cats by recording 21 points and the game-winning three, junior guard Anthony McComb III (Dayton, Ohio) tallied 16 points in the win, and freshman guard Khalil Badru (New Britain, Conn.) got into double digits recording 13 points.
The Wildcats improve to 7-20 (5-7 AE).

- The River Hawks went on an 8-0 run in the following two minutes, but the 'Cats wouldn't let them get far, making it 16-12 UML with 10:49 left in the half, highlighted by a three from Khalil Badru.
- UMass Lowell kept the scoring going with a 7-2 run, increasing their lead to nine points and making it 23-14 with 7:23 left in the half.
