- Badru won the tip for UNH and put them on the board first with a fade away (2-0). A junior guard Jawarie Hamelin (Westerly, R.I.) layup among a made free throw from junior guard Sami Pissis (Paris, France) gave the 'Cats their fifth point of the night. The Bearcats matched that to the game's first media timeout to tie the score (5-5).
- The 'Cats trailed by two at the halfway mark of the first 20 minutes. Four Badru points and a layup from freshman forward Jon O'Neill (Kaukauna, Wis.) gave UNH their 13th point (15-13).
- Binghamton went up by five points but a freshman center Caleb Middleton (Dover, N.H.) layup and a sophomore forward Dylan Saunders (Roanoke, Va.) three-pointer tied the game at 18.
- The Bearcats took their largest lead of 13 points with just over a minute in the first half. That sent the teams into the locker room with a score of 35-22 after the first 20 minutes of play.

- Pissis recorded the first Wildcat points of the half by converting an "and-one" play from a Binghamton turnover.
- The Bearcats kept their foot on the gas pedal by expanding and maintaining a 23-point lead.
- Poser and Hamelin combined for five points to put UNH down 50-32 with just over halfway to go in the second half but the Wildcats were unable to come back.

- The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, Feb. 22 at UAlbany (7 p.m., ESPN+).
