Maier & Grenz Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Honor recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for athletic and academic excellence
DURHAM, N.H. – Senior midfielder Abbi Maier (Cincinnati, Ohio) and senior forward Elaina Grenz (River Edge, N.J.) of the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Maier, who was the 2025 America East Co-Midfielder of the Year and was named to the America East All-Conference First Team, earns this recognition for the third straight season. She was just recently selected to the 2025 America East All-Academic Team with a 3.98 GPA as a Health Sciences major. She is also a three-time America East Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient (2022, 2023 & 2024). She led the team this season with a career-best six goals and 14 points. She posted 17 goals and seven assists for 41 career points as she is 10th all-time at UNH in goals.
Grenz, who has a 3.64 GPA as a Sport Management & Leadership Major, earned this honor for the first time in her career. She is a two-time member of the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll (2022, 2023) and was selected to the America East Academic Honor Roll (2024). Grenz played in 16 games with eight starts this season and tied for fourth on the team with a career-best two goals. She scored her first collegiate game winner in the win at UAlbany on Oct. 12. Grenz is a member of the Executive Board of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
