Ibrahim Conde scores two goals for the Wildcats
DURHAM, N.H. – Senior forward Ibrahim Conde (Montreal, Quebec) scored two goals as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated William & Mary, 3-2, on Saturday evening at Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats improve to 1-1-1, while the Tribe fall to 1-1-0.
The win marks the first for Rich Weinrebe as head coach of the Wildcats.

· The 'Cats will play four straight road games starting at Princeton on Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The next home game is Tuesday, Oct. 1 against Northeastern at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

· Conde scored the first goal of the season for UNH when he fired a shot from 10 yards out to the left side of the net in the 13th minute (12:42). Junior midfielder Terry Makedika (Paris, France) and graduate student midfielder Federico Tellez (Miami, Fla.) each posted their first assist as a Wildcat. That's two for Ibrahim tonight! · In the 39th minute (38:37), the Tribe tied the contest at 1-1 with an own goal by UNH.
· UNH took a 2-1 advantage in the 49th minute (48:36) when graduate student forward Matthew Goncalves (Everett, Mass.) sent a header to the back of the net from eight yards out from a free kick by Tellez for his first career goal as a Wildcat. Matthew Goncalves scores his first career Wildcat goal to give us a 2-1 lead!

· Conde recorded his second goal of the night when he sent a penalty kick to the lower left side of the net in the 61st minute (60:27) as the 'Cats went up by a 3-1 score. That's two for Ibrahim tonight! 'Cats lead 3-1!

· The Tribe cut the deficit to 3-2 in the 71st minute (70:25) with a goal by Sam Delgado, but William & Mary could not find the equalizer for the 3-2 final score.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
· Each team took eight shots, while the Wildcats had five shots on goal and the Tribe posted two.
· Each team attempted two corner kicks.
