Wildcats Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors with Program-Best GPA

UNH recorded a 3.68 team GPA in the Spring Semester
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team has achieved Scholar All-America honors for the Spring 2023 Semester as announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Wildcats recorded a program-best 3.68 Team GPA, breaking their previous record of 3.67 set in the 2022 Fall Semester.
UNH earned several academic honors this past season including senior captain Madison Linstedt (Marion, Ohio) winning the America East Women's Swimming and Diving Scholar Athlete of the Year award. This was a conference-best 11th time a Wildcat has won this award.
Senior Paige Edmier (Bartlett, Ill.), Linstedt, junior Abby McKinney (Westfield, N.J.) and sophomore Ana O'Neil (St. Paul, Minn.) were named to the 2022‐23 America East All-Academic Team, while Edmier, Linstedt, McKinney and senior Olivia Stille (Stockholm, Sweden) received Academic All‐District accolades.
Edmier was also recently named an America East Presidential Scholar, while Edmier, Linstedt and Stille were recognized for being a member of the National College Athlete Honor Society for the second time and McKinney for the first time.
The Wildcats won their fourth straight America East Championship and 11th overall this past season. This is the first time in program history that UNH has won four in a row. The Wildcats have a league-record 11 championships (1998, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023).
