Kelly Scores Lone Goal in 1-0 Senior Day Win Over NJIT

DURHAM, N.H.- Senior back Alivia Kelly (Pembroke, Mass) scored the lone goal in the University of New Hampshire women's soccer 1-0 victory on Sunday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium.
Red shirt sophomore goalkeeper Sally Rainey (Lebanon, N.H.) had two saves for the Wildcats and recorded her sixth career shutout.
The Wildcat's record improves to 6-4-3, (3-1-2 AE) and NJIT's falls to 6-5-5, (2-3-1 AE)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sophomore midfielder Abbi Maier (Cincinnati, Ohio) drew a foul that awarded the Wildcats a free kick in the 81st minute outside of the box. Kelly riffled the ball right on net and buried it in the top right corner giving UNH a 1-0 lead.
INSIDE THE NUMBER:
- UNH out shot NJIT 16-4.
- UNH had 10 corner kicks while NJIT had four.
- Samantha Constantine of NJIT had three saves while Rainey had two.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Kelly's goal was her second game winning goal of her career.
