Rory O’Driscoll Named America East Offensive Player of the Week

BOSTON – Senior midfielder Rory O'Driscoll (Minneapolis, Minn.) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team (2-2-0) has been named the America East Offensive Player of the Week for his three-point performance in the 3-0 win versus Florida International on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Wildcat Stadium.

This is the first time in his career that O'Drsicoll has earned this honor. This is his second weekly America East award as he was named the Rookie of the Week on Sept. 30, 2019.

O'Driscoll scored on a penalty kick to the give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead over FIU and then he tallied an assist on the final goal of the game in the 3-0 win. He leads the team this season with two goals and five points. For his career, O'Driscoll has 15 goals and six assists for 36 points.

The Wildcats return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. when they play at Providence (1-2-2) at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on FloFC.
