STORYLINES
UNH has an 18-21 lifetime record against Stony Brook. The Seawolves posted a 25-point home win last January for a fourth straight win vs. New Hampshire, but the Wildcats responded with a 17-point win in Lundholm Gym last February.
New Hampshire has lost six consecutive matchups on Stony Brook's home court since recording a 73-69 win Feb. 8, 2014.
Redshirt freshman guard Blondeau Tchoukuiengo was named America East Rookie of the Week this past Monday (Jan. 11). He is the first two-time recipient of that award in the 2020-21 season; he was also feted Nov. 30.
Four of UNH's last five games have been decided by less than a five point margin of victory.
UNH has had a different starting five each of the past five games and has used a total of seven different starting lineups this season.
UNH enters the weekend as the America East conference leader in rebounding (39.1 rpg) and offensive rebounding (11.2/game); the Wildcats rank second in defensive rebounding (27.9/game) and rebound margin (+4.8).

SBU averages the second-highest turnovers per game (15.7), but is also second in both steals (6.6 per game) and blocks (4.8 per game).
