UNH is 0-2. The Wildcats were playing up a level against Florida International, an FBS school with more scholarships and resources than FCS teams such as UNH.
Brosmer and Laube teamed up for their 86-yard score with 10:20 left in the third period. Laube broke a couple of tackles at the 50-yard line on his way to the end zone and UNH grabbed a 17-13 lead.
It was the Wildcats' first TD pass covering at least 80 yards since Sean Goldrich and R.J. Harris combined on an 80-yarder Nov. 8, 2014 in a win over Rhode Island.
The Wildcats also owned a couple of early leads. First at 3-0 on a 41-yard field goal by junior Jason Hughes (Atkinson, N.H.) with 9:09 left in the first period.
They went up 10-7 on Brosmer's 7-yard TD pass to Espanet with 38 seconds left in the first period.
The game was delayed for 40 minutes because of lightning in the area immediately after the touchdown. Hughes kicked the conversion when the game resumed.
