UNH receives two All-America selections for the first time in program history.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Junior defender Josh Bauer (Bedford, N.H.) and senior midfielder Antonio Colacci (Bradenton, Fla.) have earned All-America accolades as announced by United Soccer Coaches. Bauer has been named to the first team, while Colacci is on the third team. Bauer, who was a member of the second team last year, is the first player in program history to receive first team honors. This is also the first time that UNH has had two All-America selections. Bauer is the second Wildcat to earn All-America honors for the second time. The previous three All-Americans were Bob Black (1976), Mike Veneto (1993 & 1994) and Robin Schmidt (2017).
Bauer, who just recently was named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and earned All-Northeast Region first team honors for the second straight year, was one of 15 semifinalists for the 2019 MAC Hermann Trophy. The Hermann Trophy is awarded annually to the nation's top college soccer player. This was the first time the Wildcats had a player named a semifinalist for the prestigious award.

Bauer was named the America East Defender of the Year for the second straight season. He also won the America East Tournament MVP for the second consecutive year as he is only the second player to accomplish that honor. Also this season, Bauer was named to the All-America East first team for the second consecutive year. This season he had four goals and five assists for 13 points. He has also been strong in the classroom as he was named to the 2019 America East All-Academic Team. Bauer has played in 57 career games with 10 goals and 10 assists for 30 points.
Colacci also recently earned All-Northeast Region first team accolades for the second straight year. He played in 63 career games, posting 12 goals and 16 assists for 40 points. Colacci led the team this season in goals (7), assists (9) and points (23). Earlier in the season he tied an America East conference game record with four assists versus UMass Lowell. He was named the America East Midfielder of the Year and was on the America East first team for the second straight year, while he also earned America East All-Tournament honors for the second consecutive time.

The Wildcats concluded the 2019 season with a 15-2-3 (.825) record, posting the best winning percentage in program history and tying the school record for wins. The Wildcats won the America East Co-Regular Season championship, earning the title for only the second time in program history. Then UNH captured its second straight America East Tournament championship, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season. The 1-0 win over Fairleigh Dickinson in the first round was the second time in the last three years the Wildcats have won a NCAA Tournament game.

The Wildcats only allowed 11 goals all season outscoring their opposition, 39-11. UNH's 0.528 team goals against average is ranked third in the nation. UNH was ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Poll every week except the first week reaching a season-best No. 13 ranking.
