Frigon Powers Skiing to Fourth Place at Williams Carnival

CHARLEMONT, Mass. & WOODFORD, Vt. – Geneviève Frigon (Laval, Quebec) recorded a third-place finish in women's slalom at Berkshire East on Saturday to power the University of New Hampshire women's alpine ski team to third place in that race, and the Wildcats completed the Williams Carnival in fourth place overall.
At Prospect Mountain, Tyler Quinn Smith (Park City, Utah) and Maddie Morgan (Park City, Utah) each notched ninth place in their respective 3.8K freestyle Nordic races.
Dartmouth captured the fifth carnival of the EISA season with 990 points, followed by Vermont (910), Middlebury (756) and UNH (675).

At Rikert Nordic Center, the Nordic races will consist of the men's 10K classic and women's 5K classic (Feb. 23, 10 a.m.) and the men's 20K skate and women's 15K skate (Feb. 24, 10 a.m.). At Middlebury College Snow Bowl, the slalom takes place Friday (9:30 a.m.) and the giant slalom follows Saturday (9:30 a.m.).
