UNH TO PLAY UMASS LOWELL ON SENIOR NIGHT:

The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team (8-3-2, 2-2-1 AE) when it takes on UMass Lowell on Friday, Oct. 26, at 7:00 p.m. for the last regular season game of the year at Wildcat Stadium. Seniors Chris Arling (Windham, N.H.), Kyle Brewster (New Hampton, N.H.), Siggi Geirsson (Reykjavik, Iceland), Lars Huxsohl (Hamburg, Germany), Jacob Mannix (Longmeadow, Mass.), Nick Miller (Lebanon, Pa.), Adam Norman (Winchester, England), Alex Valencia (Tracy, Calif.) and Juan Velazquez (San Francisco, Calif.) will be honored before the game, along with student managers Anthony Geromini and Thomas Sievewright. The game will be on AE.TV. The Wildcats are 3-3-0 all-time versus the River Hawks. Last year, UNH won 3-0 on Oct. 7 at Wildcat Stadium. UNH is 3-2-0 versus the River Hawks. Last year UMass Lowell won both meetings at home. The River Hawks won 1-0 in double overtime on Oct. 28 and 2-1 on Nov. 8 in the AE semis.
THE MATCH UP:
UNH is 8-3-2 overall this season and 2-2-1 in America East, while the River Hawks are 8-4-2 and 3-2-0 in America East. UNH nets 1.15 goals per game and allows 0.69, while the Hawks score 1.29 goals per contest and allow 0.86.
STRONG DEFENSE:
UNH is ranked 13th in the nation with a 0.662 team goals against average. The Wildcats are also ranked first in America East.
AMERICA EAST STANDINGS:
With two regular season games left to be played, Stony Brook is first (12 points), while UMass Lowell, Vermont and UMBC are all tied for second place with nine points. UNH is fifth with seven points, while Binghamton is sixth with six points, Hartford is seventh with four points and Albany is eighth with three points. The top six teams make the America East Tournament.
UNDEFEATED AT WILDCAT STADIUM:

The Wildcats are 7-0-0 this season at home and are 17-0-3 all-time at Wildcat Stadium. UNH has outscored its opponents at home by a 35-8 margin over the 20 games played at the stadium.
