#16 UNH To Take On URI At Wildcat Stadium On Sept. 16

The No. 16 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team will host Rhode Island at Wildcat Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 7:00 p.m. Go here to watch.
The Wildcats enter the contest with an undefeated record of 5-0-1, while the Rams are 3-2-0.
UNH leads the nation with a 0.16 team goals against average as the Wildcats have only allowed one goal in six games.
This Wildcats are 3-2-0 versus the Rams over the last five meetings. Last year, UNH won by a 2-1 score on Sept. 3.
URI has been led by Stavros Zarokostas who has three goals and two assists for eight points.
After the URI game, the Wildcats will hit the road to take on Quinnipiac on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 4:00 p.m.

UNH is ranked No. 16 in the most recent United Soccer Coaches Poll announced on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

PESCI LEADING THE NATION

Graduate student Andrew Pesci (Windham, N.H.) leads the nation with a 0.16 goals against average and is tied for first nationally with five shutouts. His 0.929 save percentage is fourth nationally.
He is 5-0-1 this year and has an 19-8-1 career record with 13 shutouts.
