- The No. 12 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team will travel to Cambridge, Mass., to take on Harvard at Jordan Field on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 4:00 p.m. The game will be shown on NESN and also the Ivy League Network.
- The Wildcats enter the contest with a 6-1-2 overall record, while the Crimson are 2-5-1.
- UNH is second in the nation with a 0.209 team goals against average as the Wildcats have only allowed two goals all season.
- The Wildcats are 2-7-0 all-time versus Harvard. Last year, Harvard won 2-1 in overtime as the Crimson have won four straight in the series. The last win for the Wildcats over Harvard was a 2-1 victory on Sept. 27, 1994.
- After the Harvard game the Wildcats will host Hartford, Saturday, Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
PESCI SECOND IN THE NATION
- Graduate student Andrew Pesci (Windham, N.H.) is ranked second in the nation with a 0.209 goals against average, seven shutouts and a 0.909 save percentage. The team has allowed only two goals all year.
- He is 6-1-2 this year and has a 20-9-2 career record with 15 shutouts.
