CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior forward Chris Arling (Windham, N.H.) scored the equalizer on a penalty kick in the 67th minute as the No. 21 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team tied Harvard, 1-1, on Tuesday at Jordan Field. With the tie, the Wildcats are now 6-1-3 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Harvard took the first shot on goal of the game as an attempt by Cornelius Bencsik was saved by graduate student Andrew Pesci (Windham, N.H.) in the fifth minute.
In the 52nd minute (51:26), the Crimson took a 1-0 lead when Philip Hausen sent a through ball to Paolo Belloni-Orso who found the back of the net from eight yards out.
Then in the 67th minute (66:26), Arling fired a shot on a penalty kick to the lower right corner of the net to tie the game at 1-1.
Neither team was able to score the game-winner in overtime for the 1-1 final score.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Pesci made four saves, while Kyle Parks posted 11 for Harvard.
UNH took 13 shots on goal, while Harvard posted six.
