DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team is set to take on University of Detroit Mercy on Wednesday, Nov. 23 (2 PM) at Lundholm Gymnasium in the Preseason NIT Tournament.

The Wildcats hit the road again to take on Winthrop University on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 2pm for their final Preseason NIT Tournament matchup. Tickets are available at UNHWildcats.com.

Detroit Mercy and UNH have met once in the all-time series, as the Titans were victorious, 108-70, in 1978.
Preseason NIT
The Wildcats are in the Preseason NIT for the first time in program history. New Hampshire played at Temple and pulled out an incredible 57-52 win. UNH fell to West Virginia, 100-41, and hosts Detroit today before traveling to Winthrop to close out the tournament on the road on Sunday, Nov. 27 (2 PM).
Triple Double Alert
Smith collected his first career triple-double against Lesley University on Friday, Nov. 11. He nearly earned one during the 2015-16 season in the season opener against Lyndon State College with 11 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists. He is one of six athletes in the NCAA to record a triple-double this season.
