Men’s Soccer Travels to Siena College for Afternoon Tilt on Saturday (1 p.m.)

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team looks to improve its record to 3-0 on the season at the squad travels to Loudonville, N.Y. to take on Siena College. Saturday's game starts at 1 p.m. on Siena Field.
SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE: The Wildcats enter the contest with a 2-0 record on the young season. The team started the 2015 campaign with a 2-1 home win over Hartwick College (Aug. 28). The team followed it up with a 3-1 triumph over Marist College (Aug. 30) on the road.
Senior Ben Ramin (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) and junior Karl Frisk (Molndal, Sweden) lead the team in scoring. Each has a goal and an assist for three points. Senior Connor Pauley (Londonderry, N.H.) and freshmen Chris Arling (Windham, N.H.) as well as Alex Valencia (Tracy, Calif.) each have a pair of points on a goal. Seniors Andrew Chaput (Manchester, N.H.) and Lukas Goerigk (Berlin, Germany) along with junior Chris Wingate (Hovik, Norway) all have one point on an assist.
Senior goalkeeper Ryan Carpenter (Newmarket, N.H.) has played each of the first two games in their entirety, garnering a 2-0 record. He has allowed just one goal in each of the first two games and has made three saves.

Forward Junior Rosero leads Siena with three points from a goal and an assist. Nils Weddig and David Itoafa each have two points on a goal while Alexander Tejera, Uros Antic and Danilo Markovic all have one point from an assist.
Goalkeeper Gianni Carillo has started one of two games in net, racking up 133:45 of playing time. He has a record of 0-0-1 and has allowed one goal on six shots faced. Ryan Vyskocil made his start against Rutgers, allowing four goals and making five saves. His record stands at 0-1-0.
Series History: The Wildcats and Saints have played each other just once with UNH emerging victorious by a score of 2-0. The game took place on Sept. 9, 2000.
