Caulton named to All-Conference Second Team; Tufts on All-Rookie Team
BOSTON – University of New Hampshire women's soccer senior forward Greta Caulton (Amherst, N.H.) has been named to the America East All-Conference Second Team and freshman defender Molly Tufts (Weymouth, Mass.) earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Caulton, who was on the 2023 All-Rookie Team, earned All-Conference honors for the first time in her career. She led the Wildcats with 14 points, while she was tied for first with five goals and four assists. Caulton was tied for fifth in the conference in assists, tied for seventh in points and tied for eighth in goals. She was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week and to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week for recording three goals and two assists for eight points as she tallied two assists at UMass Lowell in the 4-3 win on Octo. 22, before registering her first career hat trick in the 4-3 win against Vermont on Oct. 25.
Tufts had an outstanding rookie season on defense. After an early season injury in which she missed four games, Tufts responded by being a mainstay on the defense. She was a force on the back line, starting in all 12 matches she appeared in and logged 989 minutes. Tufts played all 90 minutes in eight appearances and started every America East contest.
The Wildcats (5-8-3 overall, 2-5-1 AE) finished the season going 2-0-1 over their last three games.
