Jonathan Bean joined the UNH Athletics team as the Event Operations Coordinator in March of 2026.Â
Â
In this role, John assists in the management and coverage of all offered home events and contests. He oversees all event operations at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex and manages UNH Athletics’ premium rental spaces, including the Wildcat Victory Club, Skybox Lounge, and Lundholm Loft. His main duties include facility scheduling, event booking/management, and gameday logistics. Â

John previously worked as a Program and Sled Hockey Assistant for Northeast Passage, an adaptive sports organization founded in 1990 through the University of New Hampshire. In addition to his responsibilities with Northeast Passage, he picked up hours at the Churchill Rink in Durham, NH, and acted as an assistant coach for a local U14 ice hockey team.Â

John earned his bachelor’s degree from UNH in Recreation Management and Policy: Program and Event Management (2025). During this time, he focused on facility operations, youth sports programming, and the live entertainment industry. He was also a member of the student-organization known as SCOPE, where he helped to plan and execute large-scale concert events for the student body.Â
