Matt joined the UNH alpine team as an assistant coach in October 2014. He previously worked as a coach for the USA Elite Camps at Mount Hood (2010-12) and Copper (2009-11, 13). Matt coached at Stratton Mountain School in Vermont as the lead J4 coach.
He was also the Waterville Valley BBTS J4 Team Coach (2005, 2006, 2007) and residence director at Waterville Valley Academy (2006-2007). He also worked with the FIS Development group during his time at Waterville.
Matt was a full-time men's and women's FIS coach at Team Summit, Copper, Colorado (2008-2009). Matt is a Plymouth State College alumnus.
Matt and his father own and operate Stanton Landscaping in Manchester, N.H.
