- An 8-2 UAlbany run was quickly washed away by points from junior guard Jawarie Hamelin (Westerly, R.I.), freshman forward Jon O'Neill (Kaukauna, Wis.), and sophomore forward Dylan Saunders (Roanoke, Va.) (9-9).
- The Great Danes scored five consecutive points but once again UNH would not back away as Pissis, graduate student forward/center Emmanuel Okpomo (Delta State, Nigeria), and junior guard Anthony McComb III (Dayton, Ohio) found the bottom of the net to put the Wildcats up 16-14 with just over seven minutes to go in the first half.
- Seven points from Pissis, among two three-pointers from Poser and a Badru layup, closed out the first half to give UNH a ten-point lead (31-21).

- The 'Cats began the second half with a layup from Badru. The score fluctuated but UNH did not let up. The 'Cats held and kept a lead since 21-19 at 5:07 in the first half.
- Pissis netted 18 second-half points to help maintain the lead for the 'Cats. Badru added nine second-half points.
- Poser dropped his fourth three-pointer of the night to drop the dagger on UAlbany and give UNH a 71-60 win.
