Badru Records Third Consecutive Double-Double, Siewruk and Pissis Tally 15 Points

DURHAM, N.H.  – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team fell to Bryant, 95-76 Thursday night from Lundholm Gymnasium.

Junior guard Anthony McComb III (Dayton, Ohio) scored 22 points, and junior guard and freshman guard Khalil Badru (New Britain, Conn.) recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double in a row.

Sami Pissis (Paris, France) and freshman guard Antoni Siewruk (Koszalin, Poland) added 15 points.

The Wildcats fall to 4-17 (2-4 AE).

FIRST HALF

The Bulldogs started the game with a 10-4 run but the Wildcats found their groove after Pissis and Badru combined for six unanswered points to tie up the score.
The two teams traded three-pointers to keep the game tied with 13:49 remaining in the first half. Sophomore forward Dylan Saunders (Roanoke, Va.) knocked one down from the corner.
The score tied up at 15 and 17 before the 'Cats were able to take the lead at 20-19 thanks to a Siewruk three-pointer.
Bryant went on a 15-4 run over the next six and a half minutes to take a 10-point lead. They continued their success into halftime where the 'Cats trailed 41-30.

SECOND HALF

The Bulldogs began the second half of play with a 10-2 run that extended their lead to 19. Siewruk made his second and third three-pointers of the night in the process of a 19-14 UNH run (65-51).
Bryant extended their lead to 22 points with just over 10 minutes remaining in the game. A 9-0 'Cats run consisting of five points from Pissis and two points from McComb III and Badru put UNH back down 13 (75-62) with 8:32 to go.
UNH was unable to complete a comeback and fell to Bryant by a score of 95-76.
