Wildcats looking for eighth straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team has announced its schedule for the 2024 season as the Wildcats will be looking to make their eighth straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
The Wildcats, who were ranked No. 9 in the final 2023 United Soccer Coaches National Poll, will take on six teams that played in the 2023 NCAA Tournament (Boston University, Bryant, Hofstra, Vermont, Western Michigan and Yale). Western Michigan (#12), Vermont (#14) and Hofstra (#17) were all ranked in the final national poll of the 2023 season and all advanced to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament..
The 'Cats will play a total of 16 games with seven at home. UNH is 61-5-9 all-time at Wildcat Stadium, outscoring the opposition, 146-29.
The Wildcats open the season at 2023 Patriot League champion Boston University on Thursday, Aug. 22, followed by the home opener at Wildcat Stadium versus MVC champion Western Michigan on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. The home opener will feature two teams that advanced to the Round of 16 of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
UNH then returns to Wildcat Stadium for a match with William & Mary (Aug. 31), followed by four straight road games versus Princeton (Sept. 6), UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 13), defending CAA champion Hofstra (Sept. 17) and America East rival Vermont (Sept. 28).
A home contest against Northeastern (Oct. 1) begins October, followed by away matches versus Bryant (Oct. 5) and Dartmouth (Oct. 8). The 'Cats then plays three straight games at Wildcat Stadium, taking on Binghamton (Oct. 12), reigning Ivy League champion Yale (Oct. 15) and UMBC (Oct. 19).
UNH concludes the regular season at UAlbany (Oct. 26), at NJIT (Nov. 1) and versus UMass Lowell (Nov. 5) at Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats concluded the 2023 season with a 13-3-4 record and advanced to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history. UNH was the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament which was the highest seed in program history. The Wildcats defeated defending national champions Syracuse, 3-0, in the second round and then fell to No. 9 seed and eventual national champions Clemson, 1-0, in the first-ever Round of 16 game played at Wildcat Stadium.
