Robinson Scores 28 as ‘Cats Fall to Binghamton 87-74

VESTAL, N.Y. – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team fell to Binghamton 87-74 on Saturday afternoon from Dr. Bai Lee Court.
Junior guard Ahmad Robinson (West Orange, N.J.) scored 28 points for the Wildcats in the contest. He also collected six rebounds, both team highs. Senior forward Clarence Daniels (Brooklyn, Minn.) added 21 points.
The Wildcats' record falls to 15-13 (7-8 AE) and Binghamton's improves to 14-14 (6-9 AE).

FIRST HALF:
· Binghamton opened the scoring in the contest with five quick points. The Wildcats responded with back-to-back three pointers from sophomore guard Rex Sunderland (Kaysville, Utah) and Daniels to give the 'Cats a 6-5 lead.
· A 17-5 Binghamton run gave the Bearcats a 27-15 lead with 11:21 remaining in the half.
· A dunk from junior forward Trey Woodyard (London, Ohio) and a steal from junior guard Dior Davis (New York, New York) began a 9-0 run for the Wildcats, bringing the deficit to five, 29-24 with 8:13 to go.
· The half ended on an 11-3 run for the Bearcats giving them a 43-31 lead going into halftime.
SECOND HALF:
· Binghamton inched ahead of the Wildcats as the half went on, but the Wildcats kept the Bearcats lead to 10 for the first eight minutes.
· The Bearcats extended their lead to 18, 73-55 with 7:07 to go.
· Binghamton's offense persisted to an 87-74 victory.
