DURHAM, N.H. – Rick Santos, fourth-year head coach of the 19th-ranked University of New Hampshire football team, has announced that six players have committed to join the program for the 2025 season.
This class is comprised of three players on both sides of the ball with two offensive linemen, one wide receiver, one linebacker, a cornerback and one safety. Geographically, the Wildcats welcome one student-athlete from the Granite State, three more from New England – two Massachusetts and one Maine -- another from Florida and one international from Sweden.
"The landscape of college recruiting is changing, and our staff has done a great job adapting to the new climate," Santos said. "The early signing period is now before the transfer portal opens so we have focused on signing game-changing high school talent and will add some immediate impact transfers in the next month."
"Our coaching staff has done an excellent job of recruiting this year, and we were able to bring in some extremely bright, young players during the early signing period," Santos added. "We put a lot of effort into not just identifying gifted athletes but also in signing young men with excellent moral character, integrity, and work ethic. Our program will achieve future success thanks to the contributions of these student-athletes who will help us build on a great foundation of excellence."
Seven Bullock is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound wide receiver from Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, Fla. As a senior captain, he led the team in touchdowns, receptions and return yards, and he also ranked second in interceptions.
Bullock broke the Charlotte record for longest kickoff return for a touchdown with a 101–yard score. Beyond his on-field talent, Bullock is a leader in the classroom and a standout in the community.
What Coach Santos Says
"Seven is a dynamic playmaker who has big play ability and can score from anywhere on the field. He will look to make an immediate impact at wide receiver and in the kick return game as well. He has great body control and can high point the ball at an elite level. He is a complete wideout who can play in multiple areas. We're thrilled to welcome him into the UNH family."
Colin Couture is a 6-6, 270- pound offensive tackle from Londonderry, N.H. that UNH is very happy to be keeping home. Couture plays with great length and shows very good athleticism for a big man. His toughness is apparent on his game film while playing at Londonderry High School, and we feel he will be a perfect fit into the culture here at UNH. We are excited with the way he tested and competed throughout camp season and feel that he has a ton of talent to develop.
What Coach Santos Says
"The foundation of our program has been built with elite in-state talent and we're so excited about his ability. Colin's upside is huge with the combination of his size, length and how good of an athlete he is for a big man. He will make our O-Line room better and will become a dominant player for us in the near future. I couldn't be more excited to keep one of the best players in New Hampshire home."
Jameson Dion is a 6-1, 190-pound safety from Amherst-Pelham High School (Amherst Mass.) and The Williston Northampton School (Easthampton, Mass.). A four-year letterman at Amherst-Pelham, Dion was a force on both sides of the ball. He amassed nearly 2,000 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns, captured multiple First Team All-League and All-Western Massachusetts honors. Dion eclipsed 1,500 all-purpose yards as a senior to earn First Team All-State Massachusetts.

After graduating from Amherst-Pelham, Dion continued his athletic development at The Williston Northampton School. Dion scored 10 touchdowns, recorded more than 50 tackles and had two interceptions to earn a 2024 All-NEPSAC selection.
Beyond these athletic achievements, Dion is a dedicated student who has consistently earned honor roll recognition.
