DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team defeated Endicott, 78-64 on Wednesday night at Lundholm Gymnasium.

Junior Anthony McComb III (Dayton, Ohio) scored 19 points and collected eight rebounds, while sophomore Davide Poser (Veneto, Italy) added a career-high 19 points on 7-for-10 shooting for the Wildcats.

FIRST HALF

Junior Rex Sunderland (Kaysville, Utah) scored the first points for the Wildcats from the free-throw line after an early foul in the first half.

The 'Cats led 8-7 at the 14:58 mark and maintained their advantage for over four minutes.

McComb III made two key baskets to extend the lead to 14-8 with 10:30 remaining in the half.

Freshman Khalil Badru (New Britain, Conn.) led UNH in scoring during the first half, contributing eight points.

Endicott entered halftime with a 28-25 lead.

second half

The Wildcats trailed early in the second half but regained the lead at 35-34 with 17:35 remaining.

Poser, McComb III, and sophomore Dylan Saunders (Roanoke, Va.) played pivotal roles in securing the lead.

New Hampshire maintained control from the 16:34 mark through the final buzzer.

A barrage of 3-pointers helped the Wildcats stay ahead, with Poser and Saunders each draining three from beyond the arc and Sunderland adding another.
