COACH'S QUOTES, UNH head coach Robin Balducci
From my perspective, regardless of score, it was a great game. I thought we played a great team game. A lot of the areas we've focused on, we hit today. I'm just really, really pleased with the quality of our play as a group. We had a lot of great individual performances as well, which is exciting.
That's the thing with us. If we're playing good hockey we've got many dangerous players and I think it's hard to shut us down.
Kathelijne has been really solid as a youngster. Her skills, her receiving is spot on and she is able to make things happen. She's physical and she'll go to the ground for a ball.
Stanford is a good, tough team so they started coming at us a bit in the end. But we stayed fairly composed. Our defense remained solid and that's a big step for us with the youth in our backfield.
