DURHAM, N.H. – With the game tied at 1-1, graduate student Georgios Koliniatis (Athens, Greece) scored the game-winning goal in the 75th minute as the No. 23 University of New Hampshire men's soccer defeated Boston University, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon in front of 3,397 fans at Wildcat Stadium. Sophomore Taig Healy (South Hampton, N.H.) and Koliniatis both scored their first goal as a Wildcat.
The Wildcats advance to 1-0-1, while the Terriers fall to 1-1-0.

- Healy scored his first collegiate goal when he received a long pass from sophomore Isaac Heffess (Brookline, Mass.), dodged a defender, and headed straight to goal as he blasted a shot to the lower right corner of the net giving UNH a 1-0 lead in the 35th minute (34:46).

- Quinn Matulis scored on a free kick for BU in the 68th minute (67:21) to tie the game at 1-1.
- The Wildcats almost took the lead in the 69th minute when a header by Heffess off a corner kick by grad student Bilal Kamal (London, England) bounced off the post.
- Koliniatis scored his first Wildcat goal when he sent a header to the right corner of the net from a cross by graduate student Liam Bennett (Concord, N.H.) in the 75th minute (74:15).
