Nils Buchwalder scores game winner on his first career goal.
DURHAM, N.H. – Graduate back Nils Buchwalder (Bochum, Germany) scored the game winner on a penalty kick as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated UC Irvine, 1-0, on Friday evening at Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats improve to 3-3-0 overall, while the Anteaters fall to 0-6-1 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first half went scoreless as the Wildcats outshot UC Irvine, 6-1.
- After a penalty kick was awarded to the Wildcats for a UC Irvine hand ball, Buchwalder gave UNH the 1-0 lead when he sent the ball into the upper left corner in the 77th minute (76:36).
- The Wildcats were able to keep the Anteaters off the scoreboard to secure the win for a 1-0 final.
