PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Gil Santos scored the game winner for the Friars as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to Providence, 1-0, on Tuesday evening at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium.

The Wildcats fall to 2-3-0 overall, while the Friars improve to 2-2-2 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Santos gave Providence a 1-0 lead when he scored on a bicycle kick in the 13th minute (12:03) off a pass from Luis Garcia.
UNH outshot PC 5-3 in the first half.
In the 61st minute, junior midfielder Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy) received his second yellow card of the game as the Wildcats played with 10 men for the remainder of the contest.
The Wildcats were unable to score the equalizer for the 1-0 final.
