Service Credit Union Student-Athletes Of The Week: Sarah Williams & Joshua Hoffman

DURHAM, N.H. -- Senior Sarah Williams (Dover, N.H.) of the women's track and field team and sophomore Joshua Hoffman (Litchfield, N.H.) of the men's track and field team were named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on April 4.

Sarah recorded a first and second place finish in UNH's Wildcat Invitational 1 on Saturday, April 2 at the Reggie F. Atkins Track & Field Facility. She won the shot put by recording the top mark of 12.33 meters in the third round. Sarah finished as runner-up in the hammer throw with a distance of 50.80m in round 4.

The UNH women's track & field team returns to action April 8 at the Ocean State Invitational (Providence College) and April 9 at Wildcat Invitational II.
Joshua won an event and placed second in another to highlight the UNH men's track & field team's results at Saturday afternoon's Wildcat Invitational I at the Reggie F. Atkins Track & Field Facility.
He bested the field of eight competitors with a throw of 51.14m in the discus. Two of his other throws – 49.42m and 49.38m – were also better than the runner-up's mark.

Joshua placed second in the shot put with an effort of 14.36m; he recorded that mark in the third of six rounds.
