BURLINGTON, Vt. –Alex Nagy broke a 1-1 tie when he scored for the Catamounts as the No. 21 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to No. 20 Vermont, 2-1, on Friday evening at Virtue Field in America East action.
The Wildcats fall to 11-4-0 (5-1-0 AE), while the Catamounts improve to 13-2-1 (5-1-0 AE).
With tonight's America East results the Wildcats are now tied with Vermont for first place with 15 points with just one more regular season game left. The Wildcats are looking to win their fourth straight America East Regular Season championship.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Wildcats took an early 1-0 lead in the 16th minute (15:12) when junior midfielder Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy) sent a pass from midfield to junior forward Eli Goldman (Minneapolis, Minn.) who controlled the ball and scored from eight yards.
- The Catamounts tied the game at 1-1 in the 23rd minute (22:09) with a goal by Joe Morrison.
- Then in the 69th minute (68:53) Nagy netted the game winner for the Catamounts.
- The Wildcats were unable to score the equalizer for the 2-1 final.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Wildcats outshot the Catamounts, 9-8, while UNH took four shots on goal and UVM had five.
- Senior goalkeeper Jassem Koleilat (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) recorded three saves, while Nathan Silveira of Vermont had three to earn the win.
- The Wildcats took five corner kicks, while the Catamounts had seven.
