Wildcats Extend Winning Streak to Nine with 1-0 Shutout of Binghamton

DURHAM, N.H. – Graduate student forward Paul Mayer (Strasbourg, France) scored the game winning goal for the Wildcats as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated Binghamton, 1-0, on Saturday evening at Wildcat Stadium in America East action on Senior Night.
The Wildcats advance to 11-3-0 overall (5-0-0 AE), while the Bearcats fall to 3-8-4 (1-2-2 AE).
UNH has won nine straight games and have outscored the opposition 20-3 during this streak.
With tonight's America East results the Wildcats are in first place and are the only undefeated team in league play. VIEW STANDINGS

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The only goal of the night was scored in the 27th minute (26:14) by the Wildcats when graduate student forward Tola Showunmi (Enfield, England) sent a wide pass to Mayer who then fired the ball high burying it in the net.
