Norris has a been a loyal Wildcat supporter for over 35 years. During his time at UNH, he epitomized the student-athlete experience by playing both football and lacrosse while also balancing his rigorous mechanical engineering studies. He's a devoted football fan who's taken direct action in supporting our football program and student-athletes by creating an endowed Athletics Scholarship in 2010. In addition, Norris has contributed to the Jerry Azumah Performance Center, which benefits all student-athletes, as well as the construction of Wildcat Stadium, the Reggie Atkins Track and Field facility, and several philanthropic gifts to the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
"The quality of the people and the program is what inspires me to give – when I got to see that, and the connection, it made me want to give back," said Norris.
On what it meant to be back in Wildcat Stadium cheering from the sidelines on a late summer evening after last season with no fans at sporting events, Norris said, "Oh, it means everything to be back here."
UNH Athletics is grateful for the loyalty, commitment and unwavering support from Norris Browne, as well as all supporters of the Wildcats. Your support, no matter the amount, has a tremendous impact on our student-athletes and their ability to achieve their athletic and academic goals.
