First Quarter
- New Hampshire took three shots in the scoreless first quarter with two on goal, while UC Davis' lone shot was on goal.
- UNH senior captain Bloem van den Brekel (Eindhoven, Netherlands) took the first shot of the game on a direct shot off a penalty corner, but Wagnon stacked her leg pads to make the save at 2:06.
- In the sixth minute, Woods came off the goal line to challenge Shea Gavin, but she fed a pass to Brooke Sanchez alone at the left post. Sanchez quickly swept the ball toward the cage but Post, who had retreated to the goal line, stopped the ball and made a diving effort to clear it out of the circle.
- Mariani's shot from 10 feet off the right post was kicked aside by Wagnon with 44 seconds remaining in the opening quarter.
Second Quarter
- Both teams put two shots on goal and the Wildcats scored the only goal in the second quarter.
- Wagnon saved one shot early in the quarter from senior captain Isabelle Danahy (Chelmsford, Mass.), who drove along the end line toward the left post.
- In the 20th minute, Sanchez intercepted a pass in the circle and blasted a shot from the left side that Woods kicked out with her left leg. Madison Theodore corralled the rebound in the middle of the circle, made a touch to the left side and her rising shot was blockered away by Woods.
-  Wagnon could not stop a close shot from Mariani for her fourth goal of the season on an assist from Lee at 29:19 with a large group in front of the net. Lee maneuvered from the top of the circle to the left side. Her strike toward the net was deflected to the middle of the circle, where Mariani turned and fired the ball into the cage.
Third Quarter
- A defensive third quarter saw one shot from each team with no goals scored in the 15 minutes
- UNH was awarded a corner at 32:35 and Post attempted a direct shot that was saved by Wagnon
- Siena Dwyer's shot with 44 seconds left in the quarter was saved by Woods.Â
Fourth Quarter
- Both teams recorded two shots in the final quarter, with the only goal for UNH.
- Woods saved both shots from UC Davis, first by Theodore at 45:21 and then by Gavin at 47:49.
- UNH senior Conner Allen (Centreville, MD.) had her shot saved by Wagnon at 47:35 off a corner.
- Moments later at the other end of the field, Woods charged off the goal line to thwart Gavin's redirection.
- Neither team recorded another shot until the Wildcats took a 2-0 lead.
- Raspante scored the Wildcats' second and final goal of the game with 1:03 left on the game clock for her second goal of the season.
- Junior Finn Caron (Hampton, N.H.) gained possession on the right wing and sent the ball toward the top of the circle. Lee won the race to the ball and directed it mid-circle, where Raspante placed a shot past the oncoming Wagnon.
- UC Davis had little time left to mount a comeback and UNH took control of the possession to secure the win.
